Fusion 360 free download for hobbyists12/21/2023 It's free for Students and Educators, but also free for Hobbyists.ĭownload the free trial here: I'm not sure what the process is to register as a 'hobbyist' (ie to prove it's just for fun?!?) It's an awesome package. It's very similar in power to SolidWorks and Rhinoceros 3D Check out this video on just how easy this program is to use: Enjoy! Guys and Gals, I was introduced to this program via some maker spaces we run in Schools across Australia. I'm from the Blender Camp originally, but the stuff I can do in Fusion 360 is mind-blowingly simple. Download the free trial here: I'm not sure what the process is to register as a 'hobbyist' (ie to prove it's just for fun?!?) It's an awesome package. It's free for Students and Educators, but also free for Hobbyists. Guys and Gals, I was introduced to this program via some maker spaces we run in Schools across Australia. I am hooked (again, sorry for the reference) on their products now, and if given the choice, I honestly would not use anything else. Having used F360 for over a year now, I always recommend that if you think you want to use some of the more incredible products like AutoCAD, have a go with F360 as a way to learn the basics and then move onto your program of choice once you are more familiar. Fusion 360 is a Gateway Drug (could not think of a better term, sorry) to their other products. ![]() I have NEVER considered Autodesk products before as they were always too expensive for me to even try. This is an amazing strategy from the guys at Autodesk - whoever thought up this idea needs a massive raise! I am both a hobbyist and a student. Seriously, the more I know about Fusion 360, the more I like it. Fusion 360 Download For Hobbyistsīy making the product so available to everyone, Fusion 360 may well become the new industry standard. This is awesome news, and I'm really glad I chose Fusion 360. It's only when you go commercial that you need to pay the subscription. However, as a hobbyist myself I have found that some of these below are a little out of my price bracket. There is a list of software that you can choose from below. Autodesk Fusion 360 Software is the hobbyists dream. The truth is that it is free to use, one year renewable licen. I see many posts that state that fusion360 is or per month for everyday use. This video covers the process of how Hobbyists and some Startups can access their entitlement to FREE use of Autodesk Fusion 360. What happens is your license does expire after one year if you are a hobbyist, but you can renew it for free. I used to think the catch was 'free at the start, pay when you are hooked'. I didn't think the paid subscription was outrageous, certainly not compared with a SolidWorks or Inventor license, so I didn't look do any more digging. As of 2019, those versions are gone! Fusion 360 now has one price point – the $495 / year. When I opened my Fusion 360 account I read something somewhere about a free 3-year license for students and 1-year for hobbyists, myself falling in the latter category. Prior to 2019, Fusion 360 had a “standard” and “Ultimate” licenses which were $300 and $1,500 per year, respectively. ![]() I thought Fusion 360 had a “Standard” and “Ultimate” version? This of course offers the full capabilities of Fusion, and trials are also available. Fusion 360 Paid Licenseįusion 360 “paid” version costs $495 / year (or $60 / month if you only commit to the monthly version). Like the student version, this free license has the full capabilities of Fusion 360. makes less than $100,000USD in revenue each year. ![]() Fusion 360 for Startupsįusion 360 is available for free to any startup that: This license offers the full functionality of Fusion 360 and is not limited to the functionalities of the Personal, Hobby Use license. edu or other school email address is required. This license is available for students and for educational purposes only.

Dungeon crawl stone soup fedhas12/21/2023 I think the devs hit a homerun with this one. After this post I decided to try again with the EE background, but after splatting a very promising character at D10, I decided to go Fighter again. ![]() Unfortunately, I killed meteorans left and right and nothing felt promising. Soon after Meteoran debut, I tried to get my win on it to return to greater player. This is Yet Another Meteoran Victory Post. This GrEE was probably suited to go after a few more runes? It was good to rack another win up, now back to GnCj (3 runes probably?) and then maybe get serious about building for a 15 again. The rest of the ascension was fine with blinks, speed and digging all in good supply. The run back to the stairs was tense, I took out a couple orb guardians on the way but nothing else got in my way. I booked it back to the orb, which refused to be apported again so had to run all the way to it and pick it up. The points I put into stealth just a few zot levels above paid off though, and the Tzitzimitl didn't see me. ![]() I think an ancient lich wandered over that I was able to take care off and there were several Tzitzimitl wandering about. Finally I head back in to run for the orb again. I head upstairs with a few demons, kill them off and return, rinse and repeat a few times. I dun messed up.Īt this point I figured YASD, but let's play it out. There were several demons and pan lords and stuff in my way of going back, along with whatever I woke up from the other half of the lungs. The orb is sitting back at the edge of the orb chamber. This is when I get a warning message along the lines of "Do you really want leave without the orb?" WTF, I apported the orb but didn't pick it up. Even before I hit the stairs a pan lord spawns but I am almost there, so I ignore it and hustle to the stairs and hit < to head on up. I didn't clear the other lung or entrance (blocked by traps) so I expected company. And here is where I FUCKED UP ROYALLY! I stood at the edge of apportation range and grabbed the orb and started running for the stairs. Once I had a clear path from the orb to the stairs I decided to start my run. Of course the entrance to the lungs had a zot trap on it, but as GrEE well.shatter finds a way in :)Ĭlearing the chamber was relatively painless, I went slow and steady, retreating whenever I needed to or odds looked bad. I was going to take a break and mull over going extended, but after 4 splats in a row I decided to just get a 3 rune win under the belt again. He was parked on Zot 1, so after checking his gear and making a few adjustments from more recent lessons learned I quickly cleared down to Zot 5. Funny note, he had a whole stack of items including his weapon that had been removed from the game. Well the status was he was a brick shithouse, as GrEE are meant to be. After like 4 GnCj splats that really could have been wins (cleared to Zot 5, decided to get more runes and died.like 4 times in a row!) I decided it was time to check out the GrEE status. I came back a few months ago and decided to knock the rust off with some other runs. ![]() Can't really recall what, but I got busy with some other things in life and took a break from the game. Back on I started a GrEE on trunk, and did.stuff.

The incredible journey12/21/2023 But Rex Allen's narration is a soothing accompaniment to a feel-good movie, as told through a Siamese cat, an English bull terrier, and a Labrador retriever. Some of the acting of the human characters is at times wooden and jars the natural flow of the animal's adventure. But by relying on just the natural behavior of the animals, the original arguably sucks you in more than the remake. The action among the animals often resembles a nature documentary rather than a family movie.Ĭomparisons will naturally be made to 1993's Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, which opted to give voices to its furry stars. With CGI a decade away from first being seen in a movie, The Incredible Journey is impressively choreographed. This is a movie that transports you to a more innocent time, championing the importance of friendship and looking out for one another. Made in 1963, this heartfelt Disney movie remains a joyous celebration of friendship and courage played through the eyes of a cat and two dogs. There is some smoking toward the end of the movie, befitting the time period. Luath, a Labrador retriever, ends up with porcupine spikes in his face, causing him much distress. Some aggression is seen between different animals including when a bear tries to attack Bodger, an English bull terrier, and a lynx chases Tao. Animals are shot at but never hit, apart from a duck hunting scene in which a duck is shot dead from the sky. Spoiler alert: In the movie's most distressing scene, Tao, a Siamese cat, is swept into a river and is presumed dead - but he later emerges alive. ![]() There are some moments of peril that may trouble younger viewers - with the trio facing the constant threat of starvation and other animals. ![]() As opposed to the 1993 remake, the animals are non-speaking, but they do encounter humans along the way, and there is a touching narration throughout. The movie centers around a cat and two dogs as they travel across the Canadian wilderness in search of home. It was later remade in 1993 as Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. In 1993, Disney made a remake of the movie called. Parents need to know that The Incredible Journey is a heartwarming, 1963 Disney live-action movie - based on Sheila Burnford's novel - with positive messages around friendship and perseverance. It is an adventure story that is popular with both children and adults today.

Seven sisters12/21/2023 ![]() For better or worse, everyone is an expert now.Īfter a brief reprieve in 2013/2014 – finishing 6th but ineligible for European competition, Parma are back to the plight they have been experiencing for the last decade. There was no Twitter, no YouTube, just ones eyes and a small TV screen. At the time the continent still carried its own mystique it remained exotic, a little threatening, patently superior to the still maturing Premier League. In the decade between 19, its representatives reached the UEFA Cup final on all but one occasion – four of which were all-Italian affairs – taking the trophy home eight times.Įnglish fans of Serie A got their fix through Football Italia on Channel 4 between 1992-2002, presented by the marvellous James Richardson. Six lifted the trophy, seven were runners’ up. In the two decades between 19, Serie A clubs made the European Cup/Champions League final 13 times. It was also the most competitive league the world has ever seen. Of those who were awarded the Ballon d’Or between 19, all but two – Igor Belanov and Michael Owen – had played, would play or were playing in Italy. Whereas now it is the norm for the world’s best players to head for La Liga, and not so long ago you could argue they would head for the Premier League, it used to be that in order to be rubber-stamped as a great player you had to test yourself in Serie A. Artists in midfield like Manuel Rui Costa, Juan Sebastien Veron and Zinedine Zidane painted with their feet. The world’s best strikers – Ronaldo, Gabriel Batistuta, George Weah, Hernan Crespo, Christian Vieri, Alessandro Del Piero and Marcelo Salas – took on the best defenders: Franco Baresi, Alessandro Nesta, Paolo Maldini, Giuseppe Bergomi, Lilian Thuram and Fabio Cannavaro. A dozen stadiums were remodelled and renovated to host Italia 90 and the facilities were regarded at the time as top notch. Their lives appeared more glamorous than anyone else’s. They were paid better than players anywhere else. The best players – Diego Maradona of Napoli, Marco van Basten of Milan, Lothar Matthäus of Internazionale, Roberto Baggio of Fiorentina – illuminated Serie A. When they hosted Italia 90, there was every reason to feel that Italy was the undisputed centre of the footballing universe. The grounds were packed, the squads littered with the world’s best players. “Le Sette Sorelle”. T he Seven Sisters – an era between the mid 90s and the Calciopoli match-fixing scandal of 2006 – in which Juventus, Milan and Inter, Roma and Lazio, Parma and Fiorentina were all battling it out for the Scudetto and European honours.

Poly bridge 2 budget cuts12/21/2023 ![]() It is also worth noting that CSU is already close to its system-wide graduation goals for 2025. Graduation rates grew more (5.2 percentage points) in the final two years of the initiative than at any other time since 2001. Notably, CSU experienced larger increases in graduation rates toward the end of the initiative, after the new policies and programs-many of which were aimed specifically at freshmen-had time to make an impact on students. As Figure 1 shows, this recent growth is part of a larger trend of rising graduation rates at CSU that began more than a decade ago. From 2009 to 2015, CSU raised its overall graduation rate from 51 percent to 57 percent, outpacing its initial goal. 2015 Graduation Initiative Resultsįor the 2015 Graduation Initiative, CSU aimed to increase the overall six-year graduation rate to 54 percent and the six-year graduation rate of underrepresented minorities to 51 percent ( CSU Office of the Chancellor n.d.a.). 2 Altogether, the system hopes to produce 100,000 additional graduates by 2025 as a result of this initiative. ![]() Additional goals include increasing on-time graduation rates for freshmen and transfer students-four years for freshmen, two years for transfers-and closing graduation gaps between low-income students and their peers. To further the progress made during the first initiative, CSU seeks to increase its six-year graduation rate to 60 percent and reduce by half the graduation gap between underrepresented minority students and their peers by 2025. This effort expands upon the original initiative, bringing attention to transfer students, low-income students, and time to degree. 1 Additionally, CSU sought to cut the graduation gap between underrepresented minority students and their peers in half.Īs the 2015 Graduation Initiative wrapped up, CSU announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at 2025 ( CSU Office of the Chancellor n.d.b.). ![]() CSU aimed for six-year graduation rates at each campus to reach at least the top quartile among similar institutions nationwide by spring 2015. Most recently, in 2009, the system launched an initiative as a part of the nationwide Access to Success project of the National Association of System Heads and the Education Trust. Over the years, CSU has worked to increase its graduation rates through a combination of campus efforts and system-wide coordinated actions. Students who earn degrees also benefit more from their investment in higher education, as college graduates generally have higher salaries and better health outcomes compared to those who did not receive a four-year degree (Baum, Ma, and Payea, 2013 Johnson, Cuellar Mejia, Ezekiel, and Zeiger 2013). Indeed, the state needs more college graduates to shrink a projected skills gap ( Johnson, Cuellar Mejia, and Bohn 2015). College graduates generate more tax revenue, rely less on state and federal assistance, and increase the supply of college-educated workers ( Johnson, Cuellar Mejia, Ezekiel, and Zeiger 2013). ![]() When more students graduate, California’s investment in higher education and financial aid sees a higher return. Higher graduation rates benefit both the state and individual students. Until 2008, only about half of CSU freshmen graduated within six years, and students from historically underrepresented racial/ethnic groups-African American, Latino, and American Indian students-had even lower graduation rates. However, historically, CSU has struggled with low graduation rates. Compared to the University of California, CSU’s 23 campuses educate a more ethnically diverse population at a lower cost to students and the state. More broadly, the CSU Chancellor’s Office must work with campuses to evaluate and expand successful efforts, and the state must play a role in supporting new policies to move the needle on graduation gaps and on-time graduation.Ĭalifornia State University (CSU), the largest university system in the nation, serves more than 460,000 students annually. To assist campus planning for this goal, we identify several promising programs and policies. By 2025, CSU aims to further increase graduation rates while cutting graduation gaps in half. Also, CSU’s on-time (four-year) graduation rates still lag behind those of similar universities nationwide. The system continues to struggle with graduation gaps-underrepresented students are much less likely to complete their degree compared to their peers, and these gaps have not narrowed over time. CSU has made strides in improving graduation rates, but there is more work to be done.At California State University (CSU), the nation’s largest university system, graduation rates have an outsized financial and economic impact on students and the state. Low college graduation rates come at a high cost-lower salaries, lower tax revenue, and fewer college graduates in the workforce. |
